Top Eight: Best Ladies Night Spots
A fun girls night in Paris is always epic for different reasons and there’s more than plenty of options to cover a range of moods and vibes! These choices will leave you with must-visits to add into your next itinerary or if you live here, too.
#1 - Cravan
Inventive cocktail bar Cravan opened in my quartier on Boulevard Saint Germain a few years ago and I finally tried it one cold night for a girl’s get-together. Made up of several floors with slightly different vibes, we settled in on the 3rd floor and tried one of their signature blends that you can order by the artisanal bottle. It had great, vibe-y music at the perfect volume and cozy views of the street below. Reservations recommended. Next up: trying the ground floor patio when the weather is nice!
Here’s the spot! Too busy having fun to remember to take a photo of the drinks and our table on the 3rd floor 🤣
#2 - Bam Karaoke
This chain of upscale karaoke and drink spots is ALWAYS a good time - despite my insanely terrible singing voice, renting a 2-hr slot here is guaranteed great memories. I did a mom’s night one fall Friday and my daughter has had several birthday parties here, as well. The decor is usually speakeasy themed and has a full bar and lounge in the reception area. All the rooms are comfortable, obviously sound-proof, and have a great catalogue of music; you can order drinks and snacks as you sing the night away!
No images of me singing with a pitcher of Moscow Mules, sorry! But how nice is the bar here?
#3 - The Red Katz
A newer upscale Chinese food place in the 2nd arrondissement, this beautifully decorated spot has lovely comfort food that is plated beautifully and won’t break the bank. They have awesome music at the dinner hour and have private rooms for larger parties available. Next up: a lunch date here to check it out during the day!
Yummmmm
Cool mix of interior choices!
Such a gorgeous bar! Would be perfect for pre-dinner drinks, also - I loved the cocktail I had.
#4 - Coya
Pisco sours, anyone? I’m obsessed with this cool Peruvian bar in the 7th, tucked away in BeauPassage off Rue de Bac. The main restaurant is cool, but across the hall from it and up the stairs is the bar section - you should reserve ahead, as weekends can get super busy. They have a DJ going and all the velvet and rich colors make the party mood. The bites here are top notch; the guacamole and chips might be my favorite in Paris!
Santé!
Opulent vibesssss.
Seriously, a great chips + guac situation.
#5 - Emil Brasserie at Chateau Voltaire
A design lover’s hotel just off the grand Avenue d’Opera, Chateau Voltaire boasts this beautiful restaurant within. Old-world classic details and a welcoming atmosphere made this a perfect spot for a big group “girl dinner” with some friends one October evening. The pricing is slightly higher, as normal for this central, upscale area of Paris but a lot of the entrées are shareable and the quality is excellent. The avocado and crab starter is one I still dream about!
So much avocado! OBSESSED.
Such a gorgeous interior.
#6 - Grain[s]
A place I regret not taking photos of, even having been several times - a sign of having too good of a time! This blink-and-you’ll-miss-it little wine bar in the 6th just next to Marché Saint Germain is excellent! Great chef-forward bites that change often and priced so well - you will not leave feeling hungry, either. The wine is varied and also well-priced with many options by the glass. Us four moms had a blast here in the downstairs area and were well-taken care of - recommend it no matter the season!
#7 - Freddy’s
Truly a local gem - Freddy’s is such a great small plate and wine bar with rotating specialties and convivial atmosphere. Reservations are not a thing here, so come early to beat the after-work crowd or later before closing to sneak in a nightcap. While the 10th and 11th seem to get all the press for new openings and wine bars in this category, the Left Bank has some institutions like this that will surprise you. Except in high summer, I rarely hear English here and it seems to remain a neighborhood staple; it is just on the edge of Saint Germain-des-Prés. Pro tip: go around 3pm for an afternoon snack and glass of wine - no one seems to know it opens at 12:30 M-F and noon on Sat/Sun.
#8 - Bramble
My absolute favorite view of the Eiffel Tower up close and personal! Bramble is the bar offshoot of the fine-dining restaurant Les Ombres, located on the top of the Musée Quai Branly. For my 40th birthday, my bff came to visit from Austin and having never been to Paris, requested a great Eiffel situation. I always ask visitors this - would you like an amazing view of the tower herself OR to be in it. She answered the former, and I figured out this was a great option and more unique in my opinion than Girafe, etc. We reserved an 8:30 slot to get at least one sparkle at 9pm in late August and it was perfect! The staff was a bit chaotic, but nice and the cocktails very different and strong enough for the price. They have small bites as well, that were nice. I would absolutely recommend this to someone visiting who doesn’t want to commit to an insane dinner or doesn’t have the time for that, either. Perfect for a post-Seine picnic or a pre late dinner drink with some ambiance.
Other patrons are usually so considerate and nice and took photos of us and we returned the favor.
It was so lovely and delicious cocktails with a view!
I hope there are a few cool options you will add to your list next time you are in Paris solo or with some girlfriends! From unique food to singing to views, there’s so many things to do in Paris to celebrate any occasion at all or just simply being in the City of Light.
